“….it is even a vapour that appears for a little time and then varnishes away”. (James 4:14)
Has it ever occurred to you how time flies? You suddenly discover that before saying Jack Robinson, year 2019 is winding down. The one you called a baby in January will soon be celebrating her first year birthday and very shortly, you will soon be completing that program that seemed impossible to overcome in January. Similarly, the postponed assignment is still in its infant stage; life changing decisions that were pushed forward in January because of procrastination are still begging for execution.
Some people are not blessed with second or third chances like very few; the moment they miss their first opportunity; except by divine intervention, they end in regret (ask Miriam in Numbers 12:10). Beyond incidences, everyone is given one chance to die, and after that judgement (Heb 9:27). The question is: what are you doing with your life? Unfortunately you cannot extend your given time, but can judiciously invest it to earn you eternal profit (remember the parable of the talents in Matt 25:14-30).
When you flagrantly refuse to follow and obey the instruction of God and follow after your own ways, you’re wasting your life. Philanthropic works are fantastic but cannot replace heaven-oriented investment with promises of eternal rewards. Relocate from the NFA team and join purpose-driven one. You are not guaranteed of tomorrow, make good and effective use of today because the game will soon be over and it will be “full-time”.
