‘Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly……” (Ephesians 3:20).

The reason we don’t approach God for help at first instance in our life is because we are not fully convinced that He can handle even basic issues. The turning point however comes when you are able to admit that fault. It is at that point you begin to understand the importance of faith in God.

You need to admit and let Him know that: ‘you say things with your lips that you don’t follow through in your heart’. This will also lead you to creating quality time to study the Bible where you will discover the infinite wisdom and power of God to do all things. Do you realise that:

-He’s able to provide for you even in the wilderness of life. He demonstrated that in Exodus 16.
-He’s able to defeat the giants that stand in your way to the fulfilment of your destiny. He did it for David in I Sam 17.
-He’s able to go through with you in the trials and challenges of life and bring you out unharmed. He promised that in Isaiah 43.
-He’s able to promote you even when you’ve been overlooked or opposed despite your hard-work, commitments, faithfulness and measurable success. Read the story of David in I Sam 16:10-11.

Romans 4:21 says: “And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform” speaks strongly of the ability of God to bring into existence what He intends to do. Therefore leverage on this promise and start to do what His words say. Remember, nothing is impossible for Him to accomplish (Lk 1:37).
