‘But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves….’ (Matthew 14:24).

The disciples of Jesus Christ got into trouble while their Master was on the mount praying. At that moment, their experience of past miraculous escape from drowning faded away. Jesus suddenly appeared unto them at such a difficult time and calmed their fear. Are you in a difficult situation, tossed by the waves of this life? As you call on Jesus, He will make a way of escape for you.

I want you to note this phrase – tossed by the waves. Is that where you are today?
-In the middle of a divorce, tossed by guilt?
-In the middle of a home foreclosure, taunted by the bank?
-In the middle of an illness, tossed by the pain and the harrowing taught of not being able to function effectively again after recovery?
-In the middle of that business going down, tossed by the thought of where to start from again?
-In the middle of your child been lost to drug addiction and use of illicit substance and tossed by guilt?

In the midst of fear of imminent doom, Jesus appeared to the disciples at the fourth watch of the night and said: “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.” (Matthew 14: 25-27). Jesus is saying the same to you also to count it all joy because that incident will end in victory. Beloved, this should be your daily pill – TAKE COURAGE, I AM HERE. Wherever, and whatever position you find yourself, He is always there for you (Deut 31:6).
