‘The just man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him’ (Proverbs 20:7).

Truly life is like a vapour that appears for a while and disappears (James 4:14). But what will be said about that life by others later in a sentence matter a lot. Are you aware that your life is the greatest legacy you have and you’ve got only one to live? Therefore be ready to make it count.

In his book titled “leadership gold”, John Maxwell dedicated a whole chapter on legacy enwrapped in a title – don’t send your ducks to eagle school. Simply put as: certain things were not made to happen. Whatever capacity God has engraced you with, make excellent profit from it to positively affect your generation and someone will be able to refer to your act of kindness in couple of years from now and say, ‘Thanks, I could not have made it without you’.

Beloved, leave a legacy of purpose. You tend to have a sense of actualisation when you invest your strengths, skills and talents into a God-given purpose. The opposite is equally true in that you leave a life of frustration when you pursue a fake dream. Remember you will not live forever, but can live on through the impact you make now. Make your life be about something bigger than yourself.
