“……He will give you another Comforter (John 14:16)

Everyone needs the Comforter at one stage of life or the other. Solomon in Eccl. 3:2-8 lists 28 different seasons in life apart from other events that may be out of control of human beings such as unpredictable capital market, scary medical reports, loss of jobs or sudden natural disasters that wipe off assets.

The tale of woes stated above do come to both the righteous and the ungodly; but what makes the difference is: who is your Comforter when they happen? When Jesus was about leaving the planet earth, his disciples were thrown into a panic mode, but He assured them of the advent of “the third person in the trinity – the Holy Spirit”.

When you enter into a new dispensation in life (uncharted territory), when you need an advisor and you’re not sure of the next step to take, reach out to Him – the Holy Spirit. Be prepared to be sensitive when He takes you back to a particular Bible passage or plants a specific thought or idea in your mind that won’t just go away.

…..He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:27). With Him, you can put your life at rest and will not be caught in the rat race.
