GOD CARES FOR YOU “………………how shall he not with him freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32).
Challenges of life at global and personal levels for the past two years are sufficient enough for many to doubt if God really love them. The devastating effect of COVID-19 and other unrelated losses globally has brought set back on world economies while other human aspirations are on hold or completely on reset. This experience does not exonerate Christians because we’re still in this world; hence many start to ask the question: ‘does God really love me and why are all these things happening?’
Gideon and his people came under an immense pressure from the Midianites and care less to rebuff the angelic accolade of ‘thou mighty man of valour (Judges 6:12) and as well asked: ‘if the Lord be with us, why then is all this befallen us and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of..?’
A duty of care involves certain responsibilities that an individual is obliged to discharge when interacting with others who you have a bond with. In law of tort, it is defined as the responsibility of a person or business to act as a reasonable person would act in a similar situation.
Having been redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ and with a new identity in God (II Cor 5:17), He is eternally bond to take good care of you. The relevant question then is: ‘is there any binding agreement between you and God and if Yes, how subsisting is it?’ Isaiah 41:10 says: ‘…..I will never leave thee nor forsake thee’; even when everyone leaves you, be assured of His invisible presence.
God will do a new thing and every eye will see and praise Him on your behalf. If He cares for the birds and insects, He will sincerely care for you even if it means bringing your need from afar. Do not give up on God because He won’t give up on you. I pray that your seasons of lifting will be more than that of low, and when all is said and done, you will declare that indeed God cares.
